These tiny baby robins had hatched only a day before I took the top picture. I wish I would have been able to photograph their little blue eggs. They were only two days older in the lower picture, and already they had grown considerably.
The Volpetti Market is an amazing gourmet shop in the Testaccio section of Rome at 47 Via Marmorata. And while I did not enjoy the pigs' legs hanging in the window I thought the cheese selection was spectacular.
