Dog meat has been banished from all Beijing restaurant menus until after the Olympics in order to avoid offending Western sensibilities. Does China think we are offended only because they eat their dogs?

We are in the Dark ages...I am so not spending time watching these games, and it's so sad, the Olympics should be a global unifier...gasp.

I have been to China once and will probably not go back. It makes New York seem empty population-wise. The pollution is so bad that the sky has no color. The monuments we saw were incredible and the country side is beautiful but the cities are disgusting. They do have an incredible jade market but that is about the best part of China I saw.
